This is the best CD player I auditioned at my local stereo dealer for the money. I listened to the competition at that price range namely Denon and Marantz and they couldn't compete. In terms of build quality The NAD C515BEE was leap years ahead of the competition, the front display is clear and even displayed CD track names. It plays MP3s which is a nice feature especially at this price point. What really blew me away was the sound quality! The player is very nuanced with clear highs and very tight lows; the sound stage is very spacious with lots of depth. Although this unit doesn't feature the 24-bit Burr Brown DAC that its bigger brother does I don't even miss it. I have rediscovered my CD catalog and look forward to coming home from work every day just to put a CD in my spinner and relax, and that is a wonderful thing. Five stars for the NAD C515BEE!
