In the UK many of our DAB stations are running reduced bit-rates. Normally the difference is "Chalk & Cheese" when switching from DAB to FM. Hence a lot of HiFi users prefer the FM broadcast. However I notice that the DAB has warmth to the sound and a wide soundstage with lots of detail.
