User Review: T 754 A/V Surround Sound Receiver - clean power for movies

Products: T 754 A/V Surround Sound Receiver
I've owned this T754 for almost two years now and am happy for its sonic performance with movies although 2 channel music listening is average in this price class. The sound overall is neutral and lacks punch and warmth compared to previous NAD designs such as T752, T763 and of course the C272 power amp. At high volume settings (-10 dB to -25 dB on dial) the amplifier does not seem to get stressed at all, and I'm hesitant to take the volume past zero (0) dB mark for fear of blowing out my ear drums! Preamp in the unit is well designed and will not taint whatever device that you have connected. The 7.1 analog input is nice to have for adding HD DVD or Blu-Ray players.Mooth N - Denver, CO
