I am using the T785 to drive a 5.1 home theater using Revel F32s, C52, s30s and B15 sub. T585 DVD player and Panasonic 65" Plasma. Getting great results from the T785 - no problem driving home theater volumes - even on demanding material. Very pleased with power. I have not had luck with Audissey to calibrate the system. It is simple to operate - but my installer kept getting error messages. Am working through issues on DVD player. Some material has jaggies on the screen with t585. Could be HDMI cable - could be a dedicated outlet issue. Find the loading of material on the T585 to be sluggish. See it as alot of money for the performance so far. Time will tell - but high recommendations for T785.
